We are seeking a reliable and experienced truck driver, preferably with experience in agricultural freight. This role operates on a flexible, on-demand schedule, with loads potentially becoming available for collection on any day of the week. Early morning starts are common, typically around 4:00–6:00 am, although start times can vary and may occasionally occur later in the morning or during the day. The role therefore requires flexibility around both working days and start times, including availability for weekend work when required. Drivers are typically provided with reasonable notice; however flexibility is required, the work is steady, but the timing is variable. The role includes coordinating load pickups, communicating with loading sites and customers, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely, on time and in accordance with company procedures and relevant transport regulations. The main focus of this role is the collection of biosolids from Southwest Victoria and delivery to farms across Victoria, South Australia, and southern New South Wales.
This role is largely self-directed, backed by hands-on support from an experienced team and is responsible for the following:
· Safe operation of the company truck in full compliance with road laws and heavy vehicle regulations.
· Coordinate the collection and delivery of loads as directed by management, including contacting loading sites to confirm load availability and collection times.
· Collect loads from designated loading sites and deliver them to customers or specified locations according to instructions.
· Ensure that loads are collected within the required or allocated timeframes and delivered in accordance with instructions provided by the Employer.
· Communicate with customers regarding delivery timing and access arrangements where necessary.
· Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
· Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records as required.
· Conduct basic pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance issues.
· Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the company truck.

· Demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to work effectively on your own and collaboratively, while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
· A self-motivated individual who thrives in a flexible, autonomous work environment, with the ability to manage tasks independently and without close supervision.
· Hold and maintain a valid and appropriate heavy vehicle driver’s licence.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Comply with all applicable road transport and heavy vehicle regulations.
· Maintain a good driving record.
· Ability to communicate effectively with loading sites, customers and the team.
· Ability to manage delivery schedules.
· Flexibility to accommodate widely varying collection times
