We are a family run bakery renowned for our delicious range of artisanal bread and pastries. With a commitment to quality and craftsmanship, we have built a loyal customer base who appreciate our attention to detail and exceptional products.
But we cannot do any of that without a clean environment and clean dishes.
Responsibilities:
Washing and sanitising bakery equipment, utensils, and dishes according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of designated work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and wiping down surfaces.- Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary products are readily available for use.
Assisting with general bakery duties, such as packaging products, restocking shelves, and assisting bakers or the shop when required.
Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment.
Communicating effectively with team members, particularly bakers and supervisors, to ensure a smooth workflow within the bakery.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with other bakery staff.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as our bakery operates seven days a week.
Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods, as this role requires constant movement and lifting.
