You’ll own AI and automation initiatives from concept through to implementation, including:
-
Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for AI and automation.
-
Facilitating requirements gathering, analysing current and future business processes, and recommending fit-for-purpose solutions.

Designing, configuring and deploying AI agents, automated workflows and minimum viable products (MVPs).
-
Working with business data using SQL to uncover insights and support solution design.
-
Configuring and enhancing AI-enabled solutions using tools such as GBT, Claude and Power Automate.
-
Performing testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and continuous improvement of delivered solutions.
-
Collaborate with internal technical SMEs and global CRH teams to deliver scalable AI and automation solutions.
-
Preparing solution documentation and supporting governance, change management and compliance activities.
-
Promoting the practical adoption of AI and automation across the business.
This is a permanent, full time role based in our Pirie Street offices and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
About You:
You're naturally curious, enjoy solving problems and have the confidence to challenge existing processes to find better ways of working. You're equally comfortable engaging with business stakeholders as you are rolling up your sleeves to configure solutions and work with data. You’ll bring:
- Experience in Business Analysis, Digital Solutions, Automation, Data Analytics or a similar techno-functional role.
-
Experience translating business requirements into practical technology solutions.
-
Hands-on experience using AI platforms such as GBT, Claude or similar enterprise AI tools.

Experience building or configuring AI-enabled solutions, automation workflows or digital solutions.
-
Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, analyse and interpret data.
-
Exposure to workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate or similar.
-
Basic Python or scripting skills to support solution development.
-
Experience with Databricks, AI agents or prompt engineering will be highly regarded.
-
An understanding of APIs, enterprise systems and cloud technologies such as Azure and SAP.
