About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join Deborah Cheetham Retirement Village in Ocean Grove as a Personal Care Worker. This is a Part Time role working 1500-2100 Thursday - Saturday. This care role is in our Care Centre.
We strive to be the exemplars of quality in the aged-care industry and champions of the continuum of care model; delivering care that is tailored to our residents' health needs, preferences and rights, and we're looking for the right kind of people to join us on this incredible journey.
In this role you will:
- Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
- Follow our resident's individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for mum and dad
- Use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app myRyman
- Work closely with, and support your colleagues creating a great team environment
About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- Certificate III/ IV in Ageing Support or Certificate III in Individual Support
- Kindness in your DNA
- Strong empathy
- Outstanding communication skills
- A reliable, friendly and professional style
