About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.
Working closely with our chefs and kitchen leadership team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently while maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards.
This role requires flexibility to work across a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout all kitchen and back-of-house areas
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely
- Wash and store crockery, cutlery, cookware and kitchen equipment
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as required
- Receive and correctly store deliveries and stock
- Remove rubbish and recycling while maintaining waste management areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety standards
- Support the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
About You:
- Previous experience in a BOH / Kitchen Attendant role or similar
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness
- Flexibility across a 7-day rotating roster
