About the role
Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking a highly professional and presentable technician to join our field services team. We are looking for a technician to maintain smoke detectors and conduct add-on compliance services in residential properties. The successful applicant will work across Brisbane so willingness to travel and a love of driving is a must!
The night before each workday, you will receive a schedule on your phone that will assist you in managing appointments for the next day. You will start your day from home to your first appointment, whilst utilising an app to record your process.
No two days will ever be the same! Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary between 15-30 minutes.
Please be aware expected travel time to your first appointment can be up to 45-1 hour.
Key requirements:
- Driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Present professionally, be well-spoken, and self-driven to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be familiar with using modern technology such as tablets & applications
Please note: Safety comes first at Detector Inspector, as a pre-requisite candidates will be required to complete a National Police Clearance and a Pre-employment physical assessment.
