About the Role
In this role, you will play an important part in delivering welcoming and inclusive fitness experiences that support healthier lifestyles, build confidence and strengthen community connection. As our Gym and Fitness Officer, you’ll bring energy, motivation and expertise to develop and deliver a diverse range of group fitness programs for PCYC members and participants of all ages. Beyond leading sessions, you’ll play an active role in enhancing our programs, growing participation, supporting and developing junior team members, and delivering exceptional customer experiences every day.
About You
- Hold a minimum Certificate III (SIS30321) in Fitness or equivalent AQF qualification in a relevant area of practice (GEL qualification is not accepted). Core units SISFFIT032, SISFFIT033, SISFFIT035, SISFFIT036 are required.
Holds industry accreditation, preferably with AUSactive
- Instructional experience in the relevant area of practice.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of programs
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
