About the Role
EZ-Plant Hire is seeking an experienced Earth Moving Plant Operator for full-time work based in Karratha and across the Pilbara.
This role will involve operating a range of earthmoving equipment across civil, mining and project works. We are looking for someone who is safety-focused, reliable and confident working across different sites and operating conditions.
This is a full-time position with a minimum of 38 hours per week, with regular overtime available.
Key duties include:
- Operating a range of earthmoving plant and equipment
- Excavator, loader, skid steer and other mobile plant operation
- Civil earthworks, site preparation and general project works
- Loading, moving and stockpiling materials
- Trenching, excavation and backfilling where required
- Completing daily pre-starts and basic equipment inspections
- Maintaining plant and reporting faults or maintenance requirements
- Working safely around personnel, vehicles and other mobile plant
- Following site procedures, SWMS and company safety requirements
- Assisting with general site duties when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience operating earthmoving plant
- Relevant plant tickets/competencies
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Excavator and loader experience highly regarded
- Experience working on civil, mining or construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of plant and site safety requirements
- Ability to complete daily pre-starts and basic equipment checks
- Reliability, good communication and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime and across different Pilbara project locations
