In this role, you won't just be managing products - you'll be shaping market trends, forging powerful partnerships and using sharp commercial insights to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Shape the future of your category by defining, developing and executing end-to-end strategies rooted in deep customer and market insights, leading data-driven range reviews that hit core business objectives.
Master complex negotiations by designing and executing tailored supplier strategies, adapting your approach to shifting commercial contexts to secure the best outcomes while building sustainable partnerships.
Drive sustainable growth by acting as the financial engine of your category, translating financial reports, KPIs, and market trends into sound commercial decisions that boost revenue, optimise costs, and maintain customer price-trust.
Align and influence stakeholders across the business by using compelling narratives to translate complex ideas into clear strategies, driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless, win-win outcomes.
What you’ll bring
A proven track record of defining and delivering successful, data-led category strategies and executing impactful range & sourcing reviews in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated negotiation experience navigating high-stakes supplier dynamics and adapting tactics to achieve strategic commercial goals.
Strong performance analytics skills to confidently track KPIs, evaluate market insights, and turn complex data into actionable category plans.
Deep commercial acumen with the ability to read financial reports, understand key business drivers, and make decisions that balance profitability with long-term growth and customer trust.
Exceptional stakeholder influence and storytelling ability to build collaborative relationships, simplify complex concepts, and align cross-functional teams toward shared decision-making.
What you’ll experience
A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
A commitment to flexibility through a hybrid working model which combines time spent at a support office or hub and time working from home, supporting both in-person connection and balancing the flexibility that remote working provides for our teams.
Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
