Boat Builder / Boat Repairer – Part-Time Contractor

We’re looking for an experienced Boat Builder / Boat Repairer to join our marine repair workshop in Braeside on a part-time contractor basis.
The role is hands-on and suited to someone with experience in fibreglass boat repairs, boat building and general marine restoration work.
Duties may include:
- Fibreglass repairs and laminating
- Gelcoat and flowcoat repairs/finishing
- Structural repairs including floors, stringers and transoms
- Sanding, grinding and surface preparation
- Marine fit-out and hardware installation
- General boat repairs and restoration
- Working independently to complete jobs to a high standard
What we're looking for:
- Previous boat building, fibreglass or marine repair experience
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work unsupervised
- Own basic hand tools preferred
- Current ABN required
- Available for part-time work at our Braeside workshop
Rate: $40 per hour.
This would suit an experienced boat builder, shipwright or fibreglass repairer looking for flexible part-time contracting work.
