Make a real difference to people's experience in Australia
At Flavorite, our people are at the heart of what we do.
We're looking for a highly organised, people-focused PALM Program Adviser to help coordinate and support our Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Program across our Tatura, Katunga and Mansfield sites.
This is much more than an administration role. You'll coordinate everything from recruitment and arrivals through to accommodation, wellbeing, community connections and departures - helping ensure our PALM Team Members feel welcomed, supported and set up for success while living and working in Australia.
You'll work with people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds, build relationships across our business and local communities, solve problems, coordinate multiple priorities and help continuously improve how we deliver our program.
You don't need previous PALM experience. We'll provide the training and support to help you understand the program and its requirements.
If you've built your experience in administration, coordination, operations, workforce planning, community services, People & Culture, recruitment, customer service or another fast-paced people-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Working closely with our operational and People teams, and supporting one direct report, you'll help coordinate the day-to-day delivery of Flavorite's PALM Program, including:
-
Recruitment & mobilisation: Coordinate PALM workforce planning and recruitment, working with internal teams, Labour Sending Units to ensure candidates meet Flavorite’s requirements and all PALM compliance obligations are met. Coordinate arrivals, onboarding and essential services setup, ensuring new PALM Team Members have a smooth and well-supported orientation
- Administration, Budgeting & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and complete required timely internal and government reporting. Contribute to PALM workforce planning and budgeting processes by providing insights, data, and operational needs to inform strategic decisions
- Pastoral (Wellbeing) Care: Conduct regular group pastoral care/wellbeing check-ins with PALM Team Members in alignment with Government Deed obligations, ensuring worker wellbeing is actively monitored and supported.
- Accommodation Oversight: Regularly inspect and monitor worker accommodation to ensure it meets PALM & Flavorite standards and promptly action any maintenance or welfare issues.
- Community Engagement: Continue to build relationships with local services and community organisations to support inclusion and connection.
- Healthcare Support: Assist PALM Team Members to access healthcare and understand Medicare, appointments and health insurance processes.
- Departure Planning: Prepare & deliver smooth end-of-season transitions, including travel arrangements, final payments, and repatriation coordination, in accordance with PALM Scheme requirements.
- Leadership Capability Building: Collaborate with People Leaders to develop strategies, tools, and skills that enable them to better train, support, and engage with PALM Team Members throughout their employment.
- Continuous improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by simplifying and streamlining PALM processes, using data and feedback to identify opportunities, improve the PALM experience, strengthen compliance and drive better outcomes for all.
What will help you thrive in this role?
We're interested in what you can bring to the role - not whether you've done this exact job before.
You might be an experienced administrator or coordinator ready for your next step, or you may come from operations, recruitment, community services, workforce coordination, People & Culture or another role where you've become known as the person who keeps things moving.
You'll ideally bring:
-
Great communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with people from different backgrounds
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work across different teams, sites and communities
- A practical, solutions-focused approach - you enjoy figuring things out and getting things done
- Confidence managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong administration, coordination and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate records
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Integrity, discretion and sound judgement
- A current driver's licence, as regular travel to Katunga and Mansfield is part of the role
- A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
Most importantly, you'll enjoy working with people and contributing to a diverse, multicultural workplace.

Previous PALM Program experience is not required. If you have the transferable skills and enthusiasm to learn, we encourage you to apply.
