TECH CENTA is a growing technology retail and repair business specialising in mobile devices, professional repairs, premium accessories and device care solutions.
We are seeking experienced, confident and sales-driven Retail Sales Consultants to join our Sydney locations on a full-time basis.
Previous retail sales experience is essential. Experience in the mobile phone or technology industry is not required — full product and industry training will be provided.
Important Availability Requirements
This is a full-time retail position, and applicants must be able to meet our roster requirements.
To be considered, you must:
- Have full-time weekday availability (Monday to Friday)
- Be available to work rotating weekend shifts when rostered
- Be available to work public holidays when rostered
- Be available throughout the Christmas and New Year retail trading period
- Be flexible with roster requirements based on business and store needs

About the Role
This is a customer-facing, performance-driven retail sales position.
You will be responsible for actively engaging customers, identifying their needs, recommending appropriate products and services, and consistently contributing to individual and store sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively approach and engage customers
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Achieve individual and store sales targets and KPIs
- Maximise opportunities through effective upselling and cross-selling
- Confidently demonstrate products and communicate their features and benefits
- Assist customers with accessories, devices and repair enquiries
- Handle customer questions and objections professionally
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service
- Maintain professional merchandising and product presentation
- Replenish stock and maintain organised displays
- Complete daily operational responsibilities
- Follow company procedures and retail standards
- Work effectively as part of a professional, performance-focused team
Essential Requirements
Successful applicants must have:
- Previous retail sales experience – essential
- Proven ability to sell and engage confidently with customers
- Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs
- Strong upselling and cross-selling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and results-focused approach
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Strong reliability, punctuality and accountability
- Ability to learn new products and systems quickly
- Full-time availability and flexibility to meet the roster requirements outlined above
Retail Experience From Any Industry Is Welcome
Previous technology or mobile phone experience is not required.
We welcome experienced retail salespeople from industries including fashion, footwear, jewellery, beauty, telecommunications, electronics, department stores, homewares, lifestyle and other customer-focused retail environments.
What matters most is that you have genuine retail sales experience, confidence with customers and a strong sales mindset.
