- Assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting mobility and transfers using safe manual handling techniques
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when required
- Administering or reminding clients about medications
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and shopping
- Supporting clients with community access, appointments, and social activities
- Monitoring client health and reporting changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
- Following care plans, workplace policies, and health & safety procedures
- Compassionate and patient attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organisational skills
- Understanding of client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
