Pool Aide are looking for an experienced Electronic Trades Equipment Worker for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Lindfield.
The Electronic Trades Equipment worker will be responsible for the following duties:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and calibration of electronic systems, including pool pumps, filtration systems, chemical controllers, and temperature control devices.
- Diagnose and repair electronic equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. This includes troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and control system issues.
- Assist in the installation of new electronic equipment or upgrades to existing systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze data from electronic systems to ensure water quality parameters (e.g., pH, chlorine levels) are within acceptable ranges. Take corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts. Prepare reports on equipment status and performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Identify potential hazards and take preventive measures.
- Provide training and guidance to pool staff on the proper use and maintenance of electronic equipment to promote efficiency and safety.
- Manage inventory levels of electronic components and spare parts to ensure availability for maintenance and repairs.
- Respond promptly to equipment failures or emergencies to minimize disruption to pool operations.
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:
- At least 03 years of work experience in electronic related equipment
- Prior experience in electronics maintenance or repair, preferably in a pool or aquatic facility setting.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, electronic components, and control systems.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
