Nosey Neighbour Café is coming to Whittlesea! ☕
We're getting ready to open the doors to Nosey Neighbour Café, a new independent café in Whittlesea, and we're looking for an experienced Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our opening team.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys coffee, customers and being part of a team. As we're a new café, we're especially looking for people who are happy to get involved, help each other out and contribute to creating a great café culture from day one.
About the Role
As a Barista / Café All-Rounder, your main focus will be preparing quality coffee and providing friendly, efficient customer service.
You'll also help across Front of House when required, including taking orders, operating the POS, running food, clearing tables, restocking and keeping the café clean and organized.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous barista experience in a café environment
- Is confident using a commercial espresso machine and grinder
- Can dial in espresso and make grinder adjustments
- Has good milk texturing skills
- Can consistently prepare common café drinks
- Can work efficiently during busy periods
- Provides friendly and genuine customer service
- Is reliable and punctual
- Works well as part of a team
- Is willing to help across different areas of the café
- Takes pride in cleanliness and presentation
- Is available for early mornings and weekends
Latte art skills are a bonus.
