AAFCANS purpose is to serve the Australian Defence Community. Our outlets are designed to provide convenient café style coffee, offering meals and convenience products on Army and Air Force bases.
About the role:
- Casual – Monday to Friday, no weekends or public holidays
- Based at Amberley RAAF Base
- The role is mainly in the kitchen on the cold and hot prep side. Making rolls, sandwiches, wraps and salads and using the grill
- Monday-Friday role, Starting at 5:00am
- Roughly 30-35 hours per week
- Serving cafe style options to Defence personnel on base
- Medium to large food preparation and cooking of cafe food items for the venue
- Fast paced customer service
- A vehicle and Driver licence is required to access the base
We'd love to hear from people with:
- Previous hospitality experience (Desired)
- Previous kitchen hand experience (Desired)
- Knowledge of food handling & hygiene standards
- Must be reliable and work well in a team environment.
- Great customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a team and on your own
- Car and license essential
Given you will be accessing a Defence base, you will be required to complete a National Police Check.
