Supporting Abilities For Everyone (S.A.F.E) is seeking an experienced disability support worker for a male child participant in Frankston.
About Participant:
- 40 year old male participant with MND diagnosis
- Support requirements: assistance around the house/domestic assistance, possibly handyman tasks/projects.
- Participant Interests: owns a construction business
About You:
- Male support worker
- Handyman experience highly advantageous
- Can use initiative
- MND experience advantageous but not a requirement
Shifts Available:
- Wednesday's 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
- Possibility of Monday's 10:00am - 1:00pm.
- Support requirements expected to increase over time as diagnosis progresses.
Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
- The right to work in Australia.
Pay: $40.00 – $80.00 per hour
