Grade 3/Senior OT - Permanent Full-time Position
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational Therapist to join our friendly Allied Health team. About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following selection criteria:

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA

Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a hospital setting

Experience working in a hospital is not essential but will be highly regarded
-
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritise a busy clinical caseload alongside associated administrative responsibilities within a hospital setting

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consider broader clinical implications and longer-term patient outcomes

Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop client-centred, occupation-focused intervention plans in collaboration with patients, the multidisciplinary team, and consulting medical staff

Provide clinical practice and operational supervision to students and junior members of staff.

Participate in quality service improvement activities within the Occupational Therapy Department, and relevant research to continually improve patient/client care

Develop clinical practice tools and facilitate learning within the team, by engaging in professional development activities
