We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Casual Retail Assistant to join our team. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs and helping keep the store running smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is enthusiastic about retail and can work flexibly as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service
- Assist customers with product selection and enquiries
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process sales accurately
- Handle cash and electronic payments
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays
- Receive, unpack and organise stock
- Keep the store clean, tidy and well presented
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support promotional activities and store events
- Follow workplace health, safety and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals
