Regional Travel Required
CaSE is seeking a Site Engineer to support major infrastructure projects across Australia. This role suits someone who wants to be close to the work, out on site, and involved in the practical delivery of complex civil and infrastructure packages.
You will work as part of embedded project delivery teams, supporting construction planning, site coordination, quality documentation, subcontractor management and day-to-day engineering activities. The role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with exposure to Tier One contractor environments, live construction sites and regional projects.
This position is based from Sydney or Brisbane, with regular travel to regional project locations required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day delivery of civil, structural and infrastructure works.
- Assist Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers with planning, sequencing and site coordination.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, supervisors and site crews.
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation, ITPs, checklists, permits and inspection records.
- Assist with RFIs, NCRs, technical queries and engineering documentation.
- Monitor progress against programme and report on site activities.
- Support safety, environmental and quality requirements across assigned work areas.
- Assist with procurement, materials tracking and construction work packs.
- Work with design teams, supervisors and subcontractors to resolve practical site issues.
- Contribute to a strong site culture around safety, quality, communication and accountability.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Site engineering experience on civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to roads, rail, bridges, utilities, energy, water, transmission, airports or major civil works.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and site-based delivery.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with site teams.
- Strong attention to detail across quality, safety and documentation.
- Comfortable working regionally and travelling for project requirements.
- Practical, reliable and willing to get involved where required.
