The EQ Hotel is seeking experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisors to join our pre-opening Housekeeping team in Perth.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the opening team of a new luxury hotel, helping to establish service standards, operational procedures, and a culture of excellence from day one.
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort.
This is a hands-on operational role supporting a 24/7 luxury hospitality environment.
As part of the pre-opening team, you will support operational readiness activities including room inspections, team training, trial cleans, inventory setup, and implementation of housekeeping procedures and standards.
Following opening, you will supervise housekeeping operations on shift, ensuring quality standards are maintained while supporting team performance, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Supervise and support Housekeeping Attendants during daily operations
Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure luxury presentation standards are achieved
Ensure VIP rooms, special requests, and guest preferences are prepared accurately
Support room readiness and coordinate maintenance issues with Engineering and Front Office
Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and development of housekeeping team members
Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities
Monitor team productivity, presentation, and compliance with hotel standards
Support linen control, inventory management, and housekeeping equipment processes
Respond to guest requests and assist with service recovery situations where required
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with WHS requirements at all times
Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience within a hotel housekeeping environment
Recent hotel housekeeping experience is essential
Strong understanding of luxury housekeeping standards and room inspection procedures
Experience using Opera PMS or similar hotel systems highly regarded
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
Professional presentation and positive attitude
Valid Australian work rights — visa sponsorship is not available
