We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Surveyor to join our Olympic Dam team on a FIFO 2:1 roster ex-Adelaide or Melbourne, with a package equivalent approx $170,000 + super . You’ll work with a close-knit team delivering construction surveys in the short term, while gaining exposure to the full breadth of specialist survey solutions we provide at the site.
The work you’ll do
- Civil and mechanical construction surveys and set-out
- Dimensional control and monitoring
- Underground service mapping and topographic surveys
- 3D scanning and visualisation
- Airborne LiDAR, photogrammetry and UAV/RPAS surveys
- Preparation of survey plans and CAD documentation using LISCAD, AutoCAD and 12D/12D Synergy
What you’ll bring
- Degree or Diploma in surveying
- Experience in construction or resources surveying, with sound fundamentals in surveying practice and attention to detail
- Proficiency with survey instruments and CAD software (LISCAD, AutoCAD, 12d/12d Synergy preferred)
- Team player with strong communication skills and willingness to contribute to a positive culture
- Commitment to safety, with readiness to complete required medical and police checks
- RPAS license and/or scanning experience valued but not essential
