NDIS Disability Support Worker – Sydney
Hometown Nursing Care is looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing NDIS team across Sydney.
You will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants, helping them live independently, participate in their community and achieve their individual goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living
- Support participants with community access and social activities
- Assist with appointments, shopping and everyday tasks
- Encourage independence, choice and confidence
- Follow individual NDIS support plans
- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
- Work respectfully with participants, families and other professionals
- Follow Hometown Nursing Care policies and NDIS requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification preferred
- Previous disability/NDIS experience highly regarded
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Working With Children Check where required
- Australian working rights
- Current driver licence and reliable vehicle preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Caring, respectful and dependable attitude
