About the Role
We are a busy, community-focused newsagency looking for a reliable and friendly Customer Service Assistant– Newsagency & Lottery to join our team. This role is at the heart of our store, where you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our regulars and managing our fast-paced lottery terminal.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Excellence: Provide friendly, professional service to every customer.
- Lottery Operations: Accurately process lotto and "Scratch'n'Win" transactions using the lottery terminal.
- Cash Handling: Manage high-volume point-of-sale (POS) transactions, ensuring accuracy with cash and card payments.
- Stock Management: Replenish shelves, maintain magazine displays, and process returns.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to Responsible Play guidelines and age verification for lottery.
