This role requires a minimum of two years practical working experience in telecommunications network construction, installation and maintenance, along with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a "hands on" role and requires you to work onsite within a team.
- Proven experience in installing, maintaining and repairing telecommunication cables, conduits, pits and associated infrastructure.
- Knowledge of how to locate, diagnose, and resolve faults and issues affecting telecommunications infrastructure.
- Proven experience in performing site inspections to assess work requirements, showing examples of how to assess and identify hazards, and how to ensure compliance with Workplace health and safety.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, safe work method statements and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Proven ability in identifying and resolving field issues.
- Coordination of daily work activities, which may include leading a crew.
- Proven leadership skills
- Proven experience in record keeping and reporting to management.
- Proven experience in maintaining tools, equipment and vehicles.
- Ability to commit to a 3 weeks on, 1 week off roster working in remote and regional Queensland.
- Willingness to travel and stay in regional locations for extended periods, with project locations changing based on client requirements.
- Flexibility to relocate between regional work areas at short notice to meet operational and client requirements.

Pay: $79,499.00 per year
