About the role
Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, this is more than a leadership role! it’s an opportunity to shape the future of allied health services across Perth. You’ll champion high-quality, person-centred care that empowers people to live well, stay connected, and maintain their independence and quality of life.
Leading a passionate multidisciplinary team within Aged Care Services, you’ll inspire excellence through mentorship, collaboration, and innovation. From supporting professional growth to driving continuous improvement initiatives, you’ll help create a team culture where people thrive and great care happens every day.
In this role, you’ll oversee and guide the delivery of safe, evidence-based allied health services while keeping connected to hands-on clinical work through a small consumer caseload. No two days will be the same — one moment you’ll be coaching and supporting your team, the next you’ll be helping consumers achieve meaningful outcomes that enhance their health, wellbeing, and everyday living
About you
You are a passionate and experienced leader, committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care. With a background in allied health, you bring both clinical expertise and a strong understanding of the aged care sector. You thrive in a dynamic environment, leading by example to inspire and motivate your team to achieve their best.
You will have exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, supported by strong time management and organisation skills to plan and prioritise your workload effectively. Above all, you are dedicated to creating a positive, supportive work culture where individuals and teams can grow and succeed.
You will also have the following:
- A relevant qualification in an allied health discipline with current registration (e.g., AHPRA).
- Postgraduate qualifications in clinical management or leadership (desirable)
- Ability to stay current with best practices and implement changes based on new regulations, legislation, and sector innovations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective partnerships across a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated resilience, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
