About the Role
As our Payroll Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time. You will assist with payroll processing, timesheets, employee records and general payroll administration while working closely with our office team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee payroll accurately and within required timeframes
- Review and verify timesheets and employee hours
- Maintain accurate payroll and employee records
- Assist with payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Process relevant allowances, deductions and entitlements
- Support payroll-related reporting and administration
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information
- Ensure payroll processes are completed accurately and efficiently
About You
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have previous payroll, accounts or relevant administrative experience
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Are confident working with numbers and payroll information
- Have good computer and data-entry skills
- Are organised and able to meet deadlines
- Communicate professionally with employees and management
- Can handle confidential information with discretion
- Are dependable and available to work Thursday and Friday
Experience within the NDIS, disability, healthcare or community services sector would be highly regarded but is not essential.
