Key Responsibilities:
Supplier and Contract Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal value for high-quality solar components.
Purchasing and Procurement: Prepare, process, and oversee purchase orders (POs) for inventory and project-specific materials.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records in warehouses to prevent shortages or overstocking, often utilising ERP systems such as NetSuite or specialised software.
Logistics and Freight Coordination: Manage logistics providers to organise freight, deliveries, and tracking of goods.
Warehouse Operations Support: Collaborate with warehouse teams in receipting, inspecting, and unloading goods.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
Warranty and Returns: Assist with damage replacements, returns, and warranty claims for faulty solar equipment.
Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with installers, clients, and suppliers to support sales growth and established long-term collaborations.
