Ready to make a real impact?
We're looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support our Executive Director, Corporate Affairs. This is a highly trusted role that goes beyond traditional administration, partnering closely with the Executive Director to manage priorities, coordinate governance activities, and ensure the smooth operation of a complex and high-profile portfolio. You'll act as a key liaison across the business, work with senior leaders and external stakeholders, and help deliver leadership forums, Board and Committee processes, and strategic initiatives. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, exercise sound judgement, and enjoy building strong relationships while keeping multiple priorities on track, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

At Alinta Energy, we’re taking real action to deliver reliable and sustainable energy for Australia - and that practical approach runs through everything we do. You’ll get clear direction, genuine flexibility, and the support you need to grow, all while working on projects that make a lasting difference. We’re big enough to create impact, but small enough that your ideas and effort will always be seen.
There are plenty of other great benefits of working for Alinta Energy, including flexible working, energy discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a paid volunteer day each year, fully stocked kitchens, and lots more.
What you’ll do
- Manage the Executive Director's diary, meetings and competing priorities
- Coordinate Board and Committee paper processes from preparation through to submission
- Organise leadership forums, offsites, governance meetings and business events
- Build effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Support travel, expense management, financial administration and invoice processing

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including CoPilot, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- High levels of professionalism, discretion, resilience and sound judgement
