Powerlink Energy is a leading provider of energy solutions, delivering reliable products to a wide range of industries across Australia and internationally. As a manufacturer, we design, produce and distribute diesel and gas generators, air compressors, lighting towers, as well as providing sales, after-sales and warranty support, all supported by dedicated after-sales service and technical support.
The Role
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and support the design, development, testing and implementation of electrical systems across our product range and ongoing projects.
Knowledge in power systems, switchboards, control systems and batteries will be highly regarded for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a strong understanding of the company’s product range, including diesel and gas generators, air compressors and lightning towers
- Design, review and modify electrical systems for products and projects
- Assist with the commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Provide technical support to internal departments, customers, and external stakeholders
- Assist in identifying product improvement and engineering solutions
- Support ongoing projects and carry out additional duties assigned by management
Key Competencies
- The ability to undertake multiple tasks with a minimum level of direct supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- To have an affinity with technology to provide support regarding technical specifications of our products via telephone
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly over the phone
Qualifications
· Bachelor of Engineering (completed or in penultimate/final year)

Salary
From $60,000 per annum + superannuation
