An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Infusion Services team at our Fitzroy campus. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with specialised patients and will be eager to advance their clinical skills in a supportive and compassionate environment.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
This role is a fixed term contract until 27/09/2027 and is offered either part time or full time (0.4 - 1.00 FTE).
Our Day Infusion Centre is a newly refurbished 15 chair unit providing specialised care to oncology, haematology, neurology, rheumatology and gastroenterology patients. We also deliver immunotherapies and blood products / iron infusions.
The aim of the position is to provide a comprehensive and patient focused service by providing expert individual patient care. You will be collaborating with all members of the multidisciplinary team to provide excellence in care and to develop and expand the service, encompassing patient centred care.

ABOUT YOU
As an experienced Registered Nurse in the Day Infusion Centre you will have:
Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
Oncology nursing qualifications and/or experience
ADAC certification
CVAD and intravenous cannulation skills
Advanced clinical nursing skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
Ability to develop and deliver patient education
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and all members of the treating team
