About the company
Our client is a growing, independent insurance brokerage based in Airport West and part of a wider national AR network. With a close-knit team of 8 and regular visits from supportive underwriters, they pride themselves on thorough, proactive service and long-term relationships with their SME-Mid Market clients.
The opportunity
Due to growth, they’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to take ownership of an established SME commercial portfolio. You’ll be the key relationship manager for your clients – handling everything from day-to-day enquiries through to complex renewals.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing SME commercial portfolio
- Handle all renewals, enquiries, policy changes, endorsements and claims support
- Prepare quotes, submissions and documentation in line with compliance requirements
- Liaise closely with underwriters to negotiate terms and secure the best outcomes for clients
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and provide additional cover where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with industry and company standards
About you
- Already working as an Insurance Broker / Account Executive (broking background essential)
- Tier 1 qualified in insurance broking
- Solid experience with SME commercial clients and a broad mix of commercial products
- Strong relationship management skills – comfortable being the main point of contact
- High attention to detail, thorough in your approach to re-marketing and renewal work
- Collaborative, team-focused and keen to be in the office with your colleagues
