Alya is seeking energetic, reliable and experienced Male NDIS Youth Mentor to support a young male living with ASD and ODD.
The focus of support is life skills development, community engagement, and positive mentoring. Applicants must be experienced and confident supporting youth who display behaviours of concern, and can safely follow a PBSP.
Shifts may include assisting with community outings, attending recreational activities, helping build independence skills, and providing a positive role model.
We are looking for workers who are active, patient, and confident engaging with young people.
Key requirements
- Experience working with young people or people with disability
- Ability to build rapport and engage participants in activities
- Reliable, professional and positive attitude
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Availability for before/after school shifts and weekends
This role suits workers who enjoy being active in the community, can confidently manage behaviours of concern and supporting young people to grow in confidence and independence.
Pay: $36.81 per hour
