Job Description
Grid Electrics Group is seeking an SAA/CEC-accredited solar installer / solar contractor for a commercial solar installation project at Bowen Aquatic Centre, Bowen QLD.
This project is for the installation of 189 x Trina 500W solar panels onto existing solar carport structures. The inverter is already installed, so the scope is focused on panel installation, DC works, testing, commissioning, and final sign-off.
Scope of Works
- Install 189 x Trina 500W solar panels onto existing solar carport structures
- Complete panel mounting and installation in accordance with approved design, manufacturer requirements, and relevant Australian Standards
- Complete DC stringing and all associated solar PV installation works
- Connect solar panels to the existing Sungrow SG110CX-P2 inverter
- Carry out testing and commissioning of the solar PV system
- Install Generation Signalling Device (GSD) if required
- Complete all works required for final system energisation and project sign-off
- Provide Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) upon completion
- Assist with project handover documentation as required
Project Notes
- Panels are already on site
- Solar shade / carport structures are already installed
- Inverter is already mounted on site
- Power Quality Testing (PQT) will be completed separately by our RPEQ engineer
Requirements
- Current SAA / CEC accreditation
- Relevant Queensland electrical licence / ability to sign off commercial solar works
- Experience with commercial solar installations
- Ability to complete installation, testing, commissioning, and CCEW sign-off
- Experience working on carport / large-scale PV structures is preferred
