- Experienced in handling participants who has emotional dysregulation, mood instability, high anxiety, and rumination.
- Tasks: Provide calm reassurance, structure, and patient redirection when the client becomes overwhelmed.
- Must be confident supporting someone with cognitive difficulties, including reduced memory, attention, and decision-making. And someone who's comfortable around dogs
What we Offer:
- Competitive starting rate of $34.73/hr on weekdays;
- $48.62/hr on Saturdays;
- $62.51/hr on Sundays and;
- $76.41/hr on Public holidays.
- We pay $0.96/km for any travel incurred during your shift.

Prior Experience and Qualifications:
- Must have experience in handling children with autism (verbal & non-verbal)
- Mandatory NDIS Orientation and Induction modules must be completed before commencing employment.
- Working with Children Check and NDIS Screening Check must be cited before commencing employment.
- 1 year of experience as a support worker is preferred.
- You will also be encouraged to gain certifications in first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, mental health, and more.
- High-performing members of our team may have their enrollment in relevant TAFE courses covered to supplement the experience gained with us.
- Ideally available 2-4hours per day and with experience in handling client with mental health condition
- Can provide transportation assistance, must have comprehensive car insurance
