About your role
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant - IBD, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership in the specialty area of Gastroenterology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
In this role, you will:
Deliver advanced specialist nursing care to patients with inflammatory bowel disease
Provide expert clinical advice and consultancy to patients, carers and healthcare professionals
Coordinate multidisciplinary care across the patient journey
Support the growth and development of the Gastroenterology and biologic therapy service
Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans
Lead and support quality improvement, clinical redesign and service development initiatives
About you
You are an experienced and passionate nurse with advanced clinical knowledge in gastroenterology and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
You will demonstrate:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in Gastroenterology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease nursing
Strong clinical assessment, care planning and complex problem-solving skills
Experience providing specialist advice and coordinating multidisciplinary care
Excellent communication, consultation and relationship-building skills
Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant specialty area, or progress towards one (highly regarded)

Redlands Satellite Health Centre, Talwalpin Milbul:
The satellite health centre is also known as Talwalpin Milbul, a name chosen by the Redlands Coast community and local Traditional Owners and Elders. It means 'Redland Bay alive/active' in Jandai language.
The satellite health centre treats minor illnesses and injuries that aren't life-threatening, and we also have diagnostic services for patients having treatment, including ultrasound, X-ray and pathology.
