About The Role:
An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen for a motivated Financial Accountant to join the Aegis Group at our new private hospital facility located in Murdoch. This role would ideally suit an individual who is seeking personal growth and development in a vitally important community focused organisation. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Support Services, your duties will include:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial records.

Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and tenant-related accounts.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Support external audits and statutory reporting requirements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Manage tenant billing, rental invoicing, and collections.

Monitor rental income and ensure timely receipt of payments.

Maintain accurate tenant and lease records within the designated platform

Process lease commencements, renewals, terminations, and rent reviews.

Calculate and account for service charges, outgoings, and lease incentives

Prepare tenancy-related financial reports and occupancy analyses.

Essential requirements:

Previous experience of at least 1-2 years in a similar role and experience with accounting software (Epicor preferred but not essential)

CA / CPA Qualifications or willingness to undertake CPA Qualification will be viewed favourably.

Must be able to work full time within a team and autonomously.

A friendly, positive, and professional approach

Advanced skills across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and excellent written and verbal communication

Hospital experience desirable
