Details: The Office of the Legislative Assembly is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Digital Services Officer to join our Information and Digital Services team.
Reporting to the Manager, Information and Digital Services, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the Assembly’s digital presence and services. You will work across website administration and development, content management, digital accessibility, web-based broadcasting and emerging technologies.
You will build strong relationships with staff, Members, ACT Government and external technology providers, providing advice, training and practical support to ensure our digital services are effective, accessible and user focused.
We are looking for someone with:

Strong knowledge of web technologies and content management systems, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Python, Squiz and SharePoint.

Experience using digital technologies to improve websites, user experience and the discoverability of information.

The ability to provide sound digital services advice, manage risks and support compliance with relevant policies and accessibility standards.

Experience delivering projects in a digital services environment.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team.

A willingness to share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Assembly’s digital services.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
