Casual Drivers Required for Local Pick-up and Deliveries (Perth Metro)
DEPOT LOCATION: Wangara WA
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-driven Courier driver with a Manual Car Licence on a casual basis to work within food service distribution. You will be required to work weekday, early morning and on call with a rotating roster. This position would ideally suit a university student or someone studying parttime. We can fit the roster around availability.
Responsibilities
- Pick-up and deliver orders to customers in timely manner.
- Perform tasks according to safety procedures.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Perth area is an advantage. The ability to work with a sense of urgency and to deliver excellent customer service is important.
Criteria
- A full Manual Car Licence with good driving record
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must have own smart phone, with proficient knowledge of use
- Fast learner and ability to work under pressure
- Availability to work outside regular hours - usually 6am starts
- A team player
- Good attention to details
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Well organised and punctual
- Provide or be prepared to undertake a National Police Clearance Certificate.
- Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical including a drug test
