DevSec is a premium security, concierge and electronic security contractor working with Australia's largest commercial property groups.
Our Electronic Security division has grown to the point where it needs its own dedicated coordinator. Until now the workload has been shared across our existing administration team, who have done a great job carrying it alongside their own divisions.
This is a newly created role dedicated solely to Electronic Security, and whoever steps into it will have real ownership from day one.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the operational engine room of the division. Day to day, you'll:
-
Own simPRO end to end: jobs, quotes, purchase orders, scheduling, timesheets and invoicing
- Schedule technicians across client sites and keep the calendar honest
- Raise and track purchase orders, chase supplier lead times and keep jobs moving
- Turn completed work into invoices quickly and accurately, and follow up what's outstanding
- Track job costs against quoted values and flag variations before they get absorbed
- Maintain asset registers, service histories and site documentation for maintenance clients
- Keep quotes moving through the pipeline and follow up the ones that go quiet
- Coordinate compliance paperwork: licences, insurances, inductions and safety documentation
- Be the first point of contact for clients on job status and scheduling
What we're looking for
-
Experience coordinating jobs, service or projects in electronic security, fire, electrical, HVAC or a similar trade services environment
- Strong job management system skills. simPRO experience is a big advantage, but if you've run ServiceM8, Aroflo, Fergus or similar and you're quick with systems, tell us
- Someone who chases things down rather than waiting to be asked
- Confident dealing with technicians, suppliers and clients, and comfortable holding people to deadlines
- Accurate with numbers, because job costing and invoicing accuracy directly affects our margins
- Organised enough to run multiple jobs, sites and priorities without dropping any
What's in it for you
-
$78,000 to $87,000 package including superannuation, depending on experience
- A newly created role with genuine ownership. You'll build the systems and processes, not inherit someone else's
- Small, direct team. You'll work alongside our Electronics Manager, COO and CEO daily
- Modern Newmarket office with parking
- A business that's growing, invests in its people and doesn't do things by halves
