L.A. Donuts is looking for energetic and reliable junior team members to join our growing production and kitchen teams.
This is more than just a casual job. You will receive paid, hands-on training in a real commercial kitchen and learn practical skills that can help you build a future career in hospitality.
No previous experience is required. We are looking for people with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in food, baking or hospitality.
What You’ll Learn
Depending on your role, your training may include:
- Decorating, glazing and finishing donuts
- Preparing fillings, toppings and ingredients
- Food preparation and basic kitchen production
- Food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced team
- Stock rotation, organisation and presentation
- Following recipes and production instructions
- Commercial kitchen and hospitality skills
Eligible team members may also have the opportunity to complete recognised hospitality skill-set certificates while working, allowing you to gain practical experience and additional qualifications while still attending school.
