ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Customer Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of customers across Melbourne's hospitality and retail landscape.
You'll be the face of Natoora to our customers — restaurants, bars, cafés, bakeries and retail shops — building genuine relationships that go beyond order-taking. You'll visit regularly, talk seasonality, help plan menus and make sure every account understands not just what we supply, but why it matters. We work with some of the most thoughtful, forward-thinking people in the industry, and we hold ourselves to a standard that matches theirs.
This role is for someone who is as comfortable having a conversation in a busy kitchen as they are sitting down to review account performance. You'll be proactive, curious and motivated — someone who spots an opportunity and acts on it.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts with a focus on building strong relationships and driving sales growth
- Visit customers regularly to share seasonal product knowledge and keep them connected to our mission
- Support menu planning and ensure customers get the most from what we offer
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to resolve issues and deliver a seamless service
- Analyse account performance regularly and take clear action to improve it
- Be a knowledgeable, passionate and credible ambassador for Natoora in everything you do
About you
Essential
- Strong knowledge of the Melbourne hospitality and food retail industry
- A genuine passion for produce, seasonality and the food system
- Commercial instinct and the confidence to drive sales
- Organised, proactive and calm when things get busy
- A natural communicator who builds trust easily
Preferred
- Experience in account management or a customer-facing sales role
- Familiarity with data and reporting tools
