Betta CNS Airport Car Hire & Airport Parking is looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Supervisor to lead our operations team in Cairns.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will supervise staff, coordinate daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest operational standards. You will work closely with management to support our busy car hire and airport parking business, ensuring efficient service delivery and a positive customer experience.
Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 plus Superannuation
Employment Type: Full Time
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday, 4:00am – 10:00pm (rotating roster including weekends and public holidays)
About You
You will have:
- Minimum 3 years' retail, customer service or supervisory experience (car rental, tourism or hospitality experience highly regarded).
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer and administration skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Professional, reliable and punctual work ethic
- Current driver's licence with the ability to safely operate company vehicles (manual driving experience highly regarded)
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays and operational peak periods
- Ability to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking and occasional vehicle movements
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach and support team members while allocating daily tasks
- Prepare and manage staff rosters and operational schedules
- Recruit, train and mentor staff while monitoring performance
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Ensure company service and vehicle presentation standards are consistently maintained.
- Coordinate daily operations and allocate resources to ensure efficient service delivery and vehicle availability.
- Coordinate vehicle movements and assist with customer transfers during busy operational periods when required
- Monitor operational issues, including vehicle condition and damage reporting, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Maintain stock levels and order operational supplies
- Ensure company policies, safety procedures and operational standards are consistently followed
