About the job
Role location: Slacks Creek
Role type: Full-time hours, Maximum term to 30/06/2026
Pay range: $88,381 - $101,106 a year based on experience, with salary packaging exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax available
In this role you will:
-
offer vital information, referrals, advice, and assessment services to individuals facing homelessness.
- work closely with individuals needing additional support to create and carry out a personalised housing plan, helping them explore options and reach their housing goals.
- contribute to the Logan Zero project by enhancing our understanding of homelessness in the Logan area.
- collaborate with a network of services—including financial counselling, homelessness support, domestic and family violence, and employment services—to deliver comprehensive, holistic support.
About you

Have a strong understanding of housing and homelessness issues, including the challenges people in housing crises face and ways to help them find stability.
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, supporting vulnerable individuals in urgent need.
- Hold qualifications in human services or bring relevant housing and homelessness experience to the role.
- Are optimistic, practical, and solution-focused, committed to helping people find effective solutions.
- Thrive in a flexible, varied role, balancing high-volume information and referral services with dedicated client case work as needed.
