We are seeking an experienced Machinist Bridge Saw Operator to join our team. Bespoke Stone Projects are based in Seven Hills NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating bridge saw machinery to cut stone, porcelain, granite, marble, and engineered stone to accurate specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate bridge saw machinery to cut slabs and materials to required measurements.
· Read and interpret job sheets, drawings, and cutting lists.
· Measure, mark, and prepare materials accurately before cutting.
· Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality and accuracy.
· Carry out basic machine maintenance and report faults promptly.
· Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
· Assist in unloading slabs from A frame and positioning on machine table.
Requirements
· Previous experience operating a bridge saw or similar cutting machinery such as CNC.
· Ability to read measurements, plans, and production instructions.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
· Forklift licence or stone industry experience will be highly regarded.
· Proficient in Cad, DXF files and Excel
