Rocker Bondi is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager with a strong bar management background to lead our front-of-house operations. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume venue and brings both leadership and premium beverage expertise.
About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team performance, and consistent delivery of food and beverage standards. A key focus of this position is bar leadership, beverage program execution, and driving revenue through outstanding service and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all front-of-house operations, including bar and floor team
- Oversee bar performance, stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to deliver consistent, professional service
- Manage rostering in line with business needs and wage targets
- Monitor financial performance, including budgets, COGS, and labour costs
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, RSA requirements, and health regulations
- Drive sales initiatives, promotions, and beverage-focused activations
- Manage the daily operations of the bar, including staff supervision and inventory control.
- Develop and implement innovative drink menus and promotions to enhance customer experience.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant areas.
- Handling all bookings and events
- Implementing and monitoring sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Restaurant Manager position
- Strong background in bar management within a high-volume venue
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Advanced knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage cost control
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Current RSA certification
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
