About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Group Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or someone at the beginning of their accounting career who is looking to gain practical experience within a diverse and growing business.
Working across TenGolf Group’s portfolio of venues and business operations, you will assist with day-to-day accounting activities and support the Finance team with accurate and timely financial reporting. The role will provide broad exposure to accounting processes across golf, hospitality, tourism, accommodation, events and wine operations.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Processing and reviewing invoices, payments and financial transactions
- Completing bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end accounting processes and journal entries
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management reports
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assisting with expense reviews and cost allocations across venues and departments
- Supporting cash flow monitoring and financial data entry
- Investigating and following up on transaction discrepancies
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis as required
- Working with venue teams to collect and verify financial information
- Supporting audit preparation and other compliance requirements
- Assisting with the improvement of finance processes, reporting and internal controls
- Providing general administrative support to the Group Finance team
This role would suit someone who is organised, numerically confident and willing to learn. You will need strong attention to detail, good time-management skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance team members.
You will be supported by an experienced Finance team and given the opportunity to build your technical knowledge, understand commercial operations and develop your accounting career within a varied business environment.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
