Production Manager (Manufacturing) required for busy commercial curtain factory located at Burleigh - Gold Coast.
This role requires the ability to plan, organise, direct, control and co-ordinate our manufacturing activities and includes
- supervising and coordinating production staff
- allocating daily work to production staff and monitoring workflow across the factory
- organizing and planning maintenance of machinery (sewing machines)
- managing production schedules and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- monitoring production efficiency and improving processes where ever possible to minimize costs to the business
- being able to sew curtains with speed and accuracy at volume
- ensuring quality control standards are maintained
- assisting with staff training and development
- preparing production records and monitoring manufacturing performance
- communicating with other managers about production issues and tasks
- managing labour, materials, machinery and resources effectively
- monitoring and ensure manufacturing department are implementing relevant occupational health and safety requirements
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
