As a Registered Nurse in our Neonatal Unit at Wollongong Hospital, you’ll provide specialised, high-acuity care to premature and unwell newborns, supporting infants who require intensive monitoring and respiratory support. You’ll work closely with families during a highly emotional and critical time, delivering care that is both clinically advanced and deeply compassionate. Within a supportive and highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you’ll develop your expertise in neonatal intensive and special care nursing while contributing to life-changing outcomes for babies and their families. This is a rewarding and fast-paced environment where your skills, teamwork and compassion truly matter every shift.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
