Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service is seeking a creative, organised and culturally aware Graphics and Social Media Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of our digital communications, graphic design and social media activities.
This role is responsible for coordinating Derbarl's social media presence, developing engaging promotional materials, supporting organisational marketing initiatives, and overseeing visual communications across print, digital and web platforms. The Coordinator will also provide guidance and direction to the Communications Officers and contribute to the development of strategic marketing and communications initiatives that support Derbarl's programs and services.
This role will be a Maximum Term Full-Time contract which expires 12 months from the start date.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage Derbarl's social media platforms and content strategy.
- Design and produce high-quality print and digital promotional materials.
- Lead the development of communications and marketing campaigns.
- Support event photography, videography and content creation.
- Manage website content and ensure brand consistency across all communications.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to promote programs, services and community events.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of the Communications Officer.
About You
You will have experience in graphic design, social media management and digital communications, with strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, content creation and stakeholder engagement. You will be passionate about creating culturally safe and engaging content that connects with Aboriginal communities.
Essential Requirements

Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
